In a recent post Read Voraciously presented a link to a Yale study that showed that people who read books live longer than those who don’t, even after social and educational factors are taken into account.

I think there’s something to it. I wonder if it’s connected to the same sort of magic that happens when you pet an animal or fall in love. I’ll read the study, but it’s cool. I think you’re right though. There’s no way I can die before I finish the Stormlight Archive.

Well, what is it now, eight more books to come at maybe one a year? That’s the early twenty first century accounted for.
